Vintage Sindy - BEA 1972 - Brunette
Sindy is wearing a replica of the uniform that was introduced just before the merger of the British European Airways (BEA) and British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC). It became the first uniform of the newly-created British Airways.
The original uniform was worn from 1972 to 1977 and stewardesses had a choice of red, white and blue blouses to allow them to express their individuality.
